Corporate Climbing

Scratch appears out of the darkness of the room, and is dressed in a black hooded cloak.  He places on the table an ancient book with a title scrawled in blood and in patois on the cover - "The Book Of The Dead."  He opens it, his eyes illuminating to a bright white obscuring his pupils, raises his arms, and with his right hand gestures in a circular motion.  A circular section of a nearby wall begins to illuminate with a faint white glow, revealing a window-like portal to Hell where the silhouette of legions of emaciated and grotesque demonic figures surrounded by fire are seen standing in a long line extending upwards from a burning, desolate, and cavernous pit leading up to the portal.

On the earth-bound side of the portal, Scratch's eyes are still illuminated by the spell he has cast; he points specifically to each of the individual shadowy demons at the front of the line on the hell side of the portal and invites them to cross over and enter this world.

"Louvri pot La!" (Open the portal in patois)  All are welcome...all are welcome... Brothers, I invite you to cross over, cross over now into this world, and enter your wish box, a temporary chamber, as you wait to be joined soon with a human host," Scratch commands.
